Developed Retail Management career across a number of well-known brands on the high street, culminating in Area management and Retail Operations. Joined WCF in 2003 with the acquisition of James Meade and became responsible for Buying and Merchandise for the brand. Progressed to General Manager Merchandise all brands with a re-location to Cumbria and recently undertook the additional responsibility for the operations at Brampton.
|Tracey Cannon - General Manager, Marketing, Home Shopping
Having studied Marketing at Northumbria University whilst working at Enesco European Giftware group in variety of roles. Joined WCF in 2004 as Marketing Manager for Home Shopping. Specialist in data and trend analysis, direct marketing, internet and catalogue production.
|Heather Hughes - General Manager, WCF Horticulture
Heather has been General Manager of the WCF Horticulture business since June 2014. A graduate with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from Abertay University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing, she started with the company as a Graduate Trainee. With nearly 22 years service she has gained experience across all parts of the business which has stood her well since taking on the role.
|Steve Hebdon - General Manager, WCF Chandlers
Steve started working for WCF as General Manager back in 1987. Following an amalgamation with Viking Fuels, an existing WCF fuels distribution business based at Pocklington near York, Steve has additionally overseen the acquisition and successful integration of Mariner Oil, Sabre Energy and 3years ago Chandlers Oil. Steve is responsible for all aspects of the day to day running and profitability of the business which employs over 70 people in Sales, Transport and Administration.
Steve enjoys snow skiing in the winter and competes nationally in water skiing tournaments as well as Triathlon events during the warmer months.
|Charles Hebdon - General Manager, WCF Fuels North East
Following many years working as a Marine Surveyor (specialising in petroleum products) in and around the UK, Charles started with WCF Eastern in 1990 covering Lincolnshire and the East Riding of Yorkshire before moving to WCF North East in 1992 to further develop the North East business.
|Lynn Casson - General Manager, WCF Fuels North West
Lynn has worked in the fuel industry for over twenty years, starting with WCF Fuels in 1994 as a Sales Administrator, later becoming Commercial Manager and then General Manager in 2013. Lynn is responsible for the day to day running of the business which employs 20 members of staff and operates 11 vehicles. She lives locally with her husband and daughter and enjoys competing at dog agility in her spare time with her three border collies.
|Eddie Johnson - General Manager, Hat Trick Media
Eddie graduated from De Montfort University in 2001 with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration - basically a degree in colouring in. He co-founded Kimeera in 2005 which eventually became part of Chandlers Oil in 2010 as Hat Trick Media. Now responsible for the day to day running of the design agency, new business development and the graphic design output, Eddie is married to a beautiful wife and has two amazing kids. He still has no idea how.
|Nicola Wolstencroft - General Manager, Allan Stobart Lubricants & Fuels
Nicola studied Mathematics at Hull University and trained as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young before joining Allan Stobart Lubricants & Fuels in 1999. In 2017, Nicola took over as General Manager from her father, Allan Stobart. She is married to Ken and they have two daughters, Sarah and Emma. In her spare time, Nicola is a youth leader and musician at her local church.
|Kevin Sharp-Dixon - General Manager (Commercial), WCF Pet & Equestrian
Started working for WCF on the 11th October 2004 as Retail Operations Manager based in Wigton. Three years later he became Product and Marketing Manager. He has been integral to the current evolution to our Pet & Equestrian store concept. More recently taking on the role of General Manager – Commercial.
Outside of work he is involved in the world of dogs, showing, breeding and judging at open and championship show level here and abroad.
|Alan Smith - General Manager (Facilities and Finance), WCF Pet & Equestrian
Alan started working for WCF back in 1986 as an assistant accountant for the NW Regional Supplies Division, based at Rosehill, Carlisle. Over the years he has worked in several of the WCF locations undertaking a variety of roles, but is currently based in Wigton with our Pet & Equestrian business.
Outside of work he is married with 3 children and 3 grandchildren. His weekends are taken up by his passion for Rugby Union and he is heavily involved with Wigton RUFC.
