WCF Ltd is a private company originally incorporated as a farmers co-operative in 1911. Many of the original co-operative members remain shareholders today alongside the company's employees who have a considerable stake in the company.

The company operates in three distinct sectors – fresh produce growing, packing and distribution, fuel oil distribution and niche retailing.
